Every BooklyBot adventure begins with its main character. Tell us their name, age and a few of their favourite things so the story feels personal to who they are - not simply as though it features their name.
You can also choose their favourite colour, adding another little piece of their personality to the finished book.
Upload a clear photo and use our simple framing tool to focus on your character. A full-length picture works best because it helps us capture their face, hair, clothing and the details that make them recognisable.
Group photos are fine too. You can crop everyone else out before the photo is used to create their illustrated character.
Great adventures are even better when they are shared. Add one optional co-star and your child can experience their story alongside someone - or something - they love.
Bring along a sibling, friend, parent, grandparent or another important person. Tell us what your child calls them and their relationship, and they will become part of the story together.
Turn a beloved dog, cat or other animal companion into a storybook sidekick. A clear photo helps us capture their colouring, markings and familiar accessories.
Even a treasured teddy, comforter or favourite toy can join the cast. Patches, worn edges and little imperfections help make it uniquely theirs.
We create a dedicated illustrated version of every character in your chosen art style. This gives the story a consistent cast, helping your child and their co-star remain recognisable as the adventure moves from one beautifully illustrated page to the next.
Favourite foods, hobbies and interests give the story more to work with. Dinosaurs, dancing, football or pizza may inspire playful details that make the finished adventure feel as though it could only belong to your child.
